Eastern Florida State College opened its new Aerospace Center of Excellence on the Titusville campus on October 13, bringing more hands-on career training to North Brevard.

The center expands the college’s Aerospace Technology program and supports aviation maintenance education that prepares students for FAA certification.

Specialized laboratories cover electronics, metal fabrication, fluids and composites, giving students experience with equipment used in the industry.

For residents considering a space or aviation career, the opening strengthens the connection between local classrooms and the employers shaping the Space Coast.
