Melbourne is set to gain another aerospace employer as CesiumAstro plans a new engineering and manufacturing facility.
In its October 16 announcement, the company outlined a $25 million investment and plans to create 100 jobs over the following 12 months.
Its work spans satellites, communications payloads, terminals and advanced computing systems, with engineering, manufacturing and testing brought together in-house.
For Brevard residents, the expansion points to more opportunities to build a technical career close to home.
The investment and hiring figures remain announced plans, rather than a tally of jobs already filled. |
