Lockheed Martin's $140M Expansion in Titusville to Create 300 High-Wage Jobs

Lockheed Martin is set to enhance its presence in Titusville with a new $140 million, 225,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility.

 

This expansion is projected to bring up to 300 high-wage jobs to the area, with an average annual salary of $89,000.

 

The facility will produce components for the Trident II D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) missile, supporting the U.S. Navy's strategic deterrence capabilities through 2084.

 

Construction is underway, with operations expected to commence in 2027.

 

This development is part of a $383 million contract modification awarded by the U.S. Navy to Lockheed Martin for the D5LE2 program.

 

In addition to the 300 private sector jobs, the project anticipates the involvement of approximately 100 U.S. Navy personnel.
