Satellite Beach Classes Build Skills and Confidence for Residents With Vision Loss |
Satellite Beach programs offer practical vision loss support |

Everyday tasks can call for new approaches when someone experiences vision loss, and a current Satellite Beach program offers a place to learn them.
The Brevard Association for the Advancement of the Blind lists its Program for Independent Living on Fridays, October 16 through November 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sessions at 674 South Patrick Drive cover accessible technology, kitchen skills, money management, cane travel and an introduction to Braille.
The program also includes peer support and guest speakers.
An $8 daily donation is suggested; call 321-773-7222 to ask about joining.
It’s a local opportunity to build practical skills and confidence. |
