Palm Bay Restaurants Lead Holiday Toy Drives for Local Children

The holiday season is upon us, and several Palm Bay restaurants are stepping up to bring joy to local children through toy donation drives.

 

The Broken Barrel Tavern, located at 4700 Babcock St. NE, is accepting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Kids Brevard initiative. This all-volunteer nonprofit has distributed toys to over 190,000 children since 1995, ensuring that donations stay within the community and no family is turned away. In memory of co-owner Shiloh Edelman, Papa Vito’s Italian Restaurant at 6200 N. Atlantic Ave., Cape Canaveral, is hosting the "In Shiloh’s Light Annual Christmas Toy Drive." On December 16, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., patrons who bring unwrapped toys can enjoy complimentary food and drinks.
